For a final project, I created a card from this month's kit.  A little flair, flower, stickers and paper and of course Tim Holtz ink, I created this card.  The flower is created from a punch I had and the paper from the kit.

Housecalls by Scrappin Madge - Wow Wednesday

Hi everyone!  Welcome back to our Wow Wednesday.  We are so excited to choose to be here with us.
This week I had fun making a layout using this month's kit.  The photo was taken at my birthday this year.  I have eight grandchildren and it is always a party when we all get together.  It just warms my heart every time I see any of those kids!  For the project I used the supplies from the kit and I added chipboard letters, sticker letters and a little blink to complete it the project from my personal stash.  I hope you have enjoyed this layout as much as I did in creating it.

Housecalls By: Scrappin Madge-Wow Wednesday!

Hi everyone and welcome to Wow Wednesday!  Today a few of the Craft Doctors and I have created some fun for you using this months Housecalls kit.

I used a die cutter to create the Photoslide and the film strip.  I added different letters from pasted kits and used the die-cutting tools to create the other items.  I used Tim Holtz inks on most edges, pearls and lettering from my personal stash.

I had fun picking these photos of my granddaughter and my hubby.  They have such a great bond and it shows in these pictures.  I combined papers from the kit and embellished the photos and the layout using supplies from the kit.  I also added some ink from Tim Holtz distressed inks and Stickles.

"Hello Gorgeous" - Housecalls Kit Reveal - Blog Hop

HOUSECALLS by: Scrappin Madge
Hi everyone!  It's a new month and a new Housecalls' Kit by Scrappin Madge Blog Hop!  We have another fun kit to share with you today, "Hello Gorgeous"!  With the Fall season approaching and fruit needing to be canned, I set out to make some pear jam and concord grape jelly.  I haven't made either before, but I thought I'd try.  Of course the jars needed to be labeled so this kit was a great accent to the jar.  I couldn't help myself to accessories the jam with cookies, so I created a bag from the kit paper and a label to keep the cookies in.
I used a punch for the edge of the paper to go around the jar.  I also cut out layered scalloped circles for the top of the jar and for the label.  I created dots with red Stickles.  I cut out a pear and lined it with green Stickles.  I embellished the jar with a sticker from the kit and used my white pen to write "Pear" to give it a chalk look.
I used the baker's twine from the kit to wrap around the top of the lid.
Come back tomorrow for more blog hop fun!
