2013 Team Intro Blog Hop is here!

Hi, My name is Janey... Here is a little bit about me!

...Janey began her journey with MemoryWorks in 2006 as a consultant and is excited to start her 5th year as a TeamWorks Member. Janey is a mother to four beautiful grown daughters, and grandmother to the now “eight is great” wonders of her world! She has an eclectic style for scrapbooking with family, her pups Caesar and Dexter and her surroundings as the sources of inspiration. She’s been married for over 33 epic years to her “Hunka, Hunka”.  She lives in a small town near Lake Tahoe. Janey has a passion for scrapbooking that originated when she was a young girl. She has always been sentimental and a hoarder of craft supplies!  Her hobbies outside of scrapbooking include photography, biking, cooking, sewing, and painting! She loves everything about MemoryWorks… the wonderful products, awesome customer service and a very supportive online community. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to explore her creativity here and to be a part of such an amazing company. She looks forward to making new friends who share her passion for documenting their lives through scrapbooking, paper crafts and altered art.
"Oh Christmas Tree" - Layout - In our home we have high ceiling so why not a tall tree...It takes me 2 or three days to decorate our 15 ft tree, but love the outcome!
I used products from Authentique (Festive Theme Set), My Mind's Eye (All is Bright), Fancy Pants (Home for Christmas) Farmhouse (Fair Skies), ZVA (Bling), Tim Holtz Distress Ink and Marker, Stickles, We R Memory Keepers (Baker's Twine), Popdots, Die Cut machine, scissors and adhesive.
"Happy Holidays" - Card- I am a collector of snowmen so why not send a Christmas cards to reflect that!  Products I used where from this past month's MemoryWorks Express Kit, Tim Holtz Distress Ink and Marker, Stickles, We R Memory Keepers (Baker's Twine) and Chomper, scissors, crimper, popdots and adhesive.
"Madison Turns Four" - Layout - Our granddaughter wanted a sledding party for her fourth party so I created this layout with snowflakes and a popout mini-album to reflect the fun we had!  The products I used included Teresa Collins (Vintage Finds), ZVA, Stickles, WRMK (Baker's Twine), Authentique (Festive Theme), Fancy Pants (Home for Christmas), Simple Stories (Handmade Holiday), Farmhouse (Fair Skies), Tim Holtz Distress Ink and Marker, Stickles, We R Memory Keepers (Baker's Twine), Die Cut machine, scissors, adhesive, embosser, stapler, popdots and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.
(showing with mini-album clipped)
"Blessed Life Clock" - Altered Project - I seem to have a love for clocks and distressing things, so here I was able to combined the two.  The products used for this project were the Teresa Collins (Vintage Finds), WRMK (Baker's Twine), Tim Holts (Distress Ink, Stain and Pen), Paper Mache Book, Clock Movement, ZVA (dots), Adhesive, Scissors and Popdots.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Yes the tree is 15' and we took it down yesterday... Almost as much work as putting it up. No I've never counted the ornaments, but I can tell you there is a lot! I'm so looking forward to another great year on the Team.
